COVID-19 PROTOCOL

We are very grateful that our dancers and families have stayed healthy and safe during these past few months of the Covid-19 pandemic.  We are looking forward to welcoming you all back into the studio very soon.  Below you will find a list of policies and procedures we will be implementing to make sure that everyone who comes to the studio remains safe.
First and foremost, if you have any cold and/or flu symptoms, or have a fever,
please stay home.  The best way to prevent other people from getting sick is to stay home if you’re not feeling well.
·               Temperature Check.  Everyone who comes in to the studio will have their temperature checked when they arrive.  If your temperature is 100 degrees or above, we would ask that you not stay.
·               Increased Cleaning and Sanitizing.  We will be keeping sanitizing equipment
at the front of the studio in main lobby, in each bathroom, in the back room, and in each dance studio.  This includes hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, cleaners, paper towels, etc.  Dancers will be asked to wash their hands before and after every class.
All studio surfaces, bathrooms, and waiting areas will be cleaned each day prior to class as well as after each class.  Students will be asked to wipe down the toilet handle,
sink faucet, and door handle after using the bathroom. They will also be asked to clean their spot at the barre after every class.
·               Face Masks.  We ask that all visitors to the studio wear a face mask.
Dancers can choose whether to wear a face mask or not.  Faubourg will have some extra face masks available at the front desk if anyone needs one.  We also ask that visitors limit their time in the studio as much as possible.
·               Social Distancing.  We will be limiting class sizes to no more than 10 students plus the instructor, in each studio.  Each dancer will have a designated barre area to use, which will be separated by 6+ feet between areas.  In the back area, each dancer will have a specific area for their bag plus a designated locker, not to be shared with other dancers. No sharing of personal items with other dancers.  We ask students to stay 6+ feet away from other dancers at all times.  Dancers are asked to stay out of the front office.
·            Breaks. During breaks, we ask that all dancers stay in their designated area in the back, 6+ feet apart from other dancers.  They should wash their hands before and after any eating.  Any garbage from food items should be disposed of right away after eating.  Please no not leave half-empty water bottles laying out or other food/drink items.
.             To adhere to a safe occupancy level in our lobby, we encourage parents to drop-off their dancer(s) and remain outside of the lobby for the duration of class, remaining in close proximity to the studio. When it is time to pick up dancer(s), please remain in the vehicle until the dancer(s) come(s) out. If you need to enter our lobby, please wear a mask.
